Seeding: All seed voting will take place prior to the drawing meeting and will be conducted on-line using the Central District web site (www.cdab.org).  Each head coach will receive complete instructions in their tournament information packet.

Draw Meeting: Assignment of schools to courts, seeding of individuals, and the assignment of individuals to positions on the tournament brackets will be made at a meeting of coaches at Gahanna Lincoln High School, 140 Hamilton Road, Gahanna on Sunday, September 27, 2009 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cafeteria Annex.

OHSAA eligibility certificates and entry forms for schools assigned to Central District sites must be received by the Tournament Manager, Dan Witteman before the seeding meeting on September 27, 2009. Mail to Dan Witteman at 1578 Tuscarora Drive, Grove City, Ohio 43123 by Thursday, September24, 2009.

Should weather or other emergency cause the tournaments to be postponed, the tournament will be completed on October 9, 11, 12, 2009.

District Qualifiers: Four singles winners and four doubles team winners from each sectional tournament to the District Tournament at Hilliard Davidson High School.

Division I District Tournament: October 16 and 17, 2009

Twelve singles winners and twelve doubles team winners from the Central District will be joined by four singles winners and four doubles team winners from the East and Southeast District Sectional Tournaments for a District Tournament of 16 qualifiers.

A coaches meeting will be held on Friday, October 16, 2009 at 8:30 a.m. under the football stadium to review draw sheets and go over the rules for District  play. Play will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday. In case of rain or other emergency, the tournament will be completed on October 18 or 19, 2009.

Eligibility certificates and qualifying information from  the East and Southeast District must be in the hands of the District Tournament manager, Dan Witteman, before the meeting on October 16.

State Qualifiers: Four singles winners and four doubles team winners  to the State Tournament at the Stickney Tennis Center, The Ohio State University, Columbus.

Eligibility sheets and entry forms for schools assigned to the Central District must be received by the tournament manager before the draw meeting.  Mailing them to Mike O'Callaghan, 810 Aries Drive, Gahanna, Ohio 43230 or faxing them to 614-337-3769 by noon on Friday, September 25 helps shorten the time needed for the meeting.

District Qualifiers: Four singles winners and four doubles team winners from each sectional tournament to the District Tournament at Columbus School for Girls. 

Division II District Tournament: October 16 and 17, 2009.

Eight singles winners and eight doubles team winners from the Central District will compete in the District Tournament.

Matches will be held Friday and Saturday at CSG tennis courts.  Players will be called at 9:45 for warm up.  Matches will begin at 10.  There will be 2 rounds Friday and one match Saturday for state tournament placement.

The district draw will follow OHSAA guidelines.  Gahanna #1 will play CSG #4  CSG #2 will play Gahanna #3.  The other half of the draw will be:  CSG #1 versus Gahanna #4 and CSG #3 versus Gahanna #2.

State Qualifiers: Two singles winners and two doubles team winners will advance to the State Tournament at the Ohio State University.
