Central District Sectional Tournaments
February 15,  2008
“SNOW” DATE WILL BE TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 19

SCHEDULE:

  • CHECK IN                                     10:00 AM
  • COACHES MEETING                     10:30 AM
  • ANNOUNCEMENTS/PRACTICE     10:45 AM
  • BOWLING BEGINS                        11:00 AM

    SECTIONAL TOURNAMENT FORMAT:

  • TEAMS WILL BOWL 3 REGULATION GAMES AND 5 BAKER GAMES
  • INDIVIDUALS WILL BOWL 3 REGULATION GAMES

  • UNIFORM REGULATIONS:    All bowlers must wear matching shirts that conform to OHSAA regulations.   All players must wear the same color pants.   Girls are permitted to wear skirts or shorts provided they are the same color as the pants and no shorter than 3 inches above the knee.  Pants should be worn at waist level and not sag or touch the floor.  Cargo pants and jeans are not permitted.  No cell phones, ipods, or other electronic devices are permitted during competition.  Failure to comply will result in player being denied the right to participate.

    ADMISSION:   8 PLAYERS (names must be on roster) and 2 COACHES – everyone else pays $6.00.  Children under the age of 6 will be admitted free.

    District Qualifiers: Nine boy’s teams and seven girl’s teams from each Sectional Tournament plus the nine boys and seven girls not on a qualifying team from each Sectional Tournament to the District Tournament at HP Lanes, Columbus.

    Should weather conditions or other emergencies interrupt or delay the tournament, the Sectional Tournaments will be completed on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.

    State Qualifiers:  Three boy’s teams and two girl’s teams plus three boys and two girls, not on a qualifying team, to the State Tournament at Tiki Lanes, Lancaster.
