Entry Forms
and Eligibility: OHSAA Tournament
Entry Forms and Eligibility Certificates must be completed and faxed to (614-237-3925) by 5:00 p.m., Friday, February 3, 2012.
Seeding:
All seeding/voting will take place prior to the draw meeting and will be conducted
online using the Central District Athletic Board web site (www.cdab.org).
Each
head coach will receive complete instructions in their tournament packet. All teams will
be seeded.
Draw Meeting:
Schools will draw into one of two sectional tournaments at The
Columbus Square Bowling Palace, 5707 Forrest Hills Blvd, Columbus,
43231, on Sunday February 5, 2012 at 1:00 p.m.
Sectional
Schedule: Teams will bowl
three regulation games and six baker games. Participating
individuals will bowl three regulation games.
Teams/Individuals
will
move one pair to the right for each game. The Baker games will be
bowled on the same pair but teams will change lanes after each game.

Uniform Regulations:
All bowlers must wear
matching shirts that conform to OHSAA regulations. All players must
wear the same color pants. Girls are permitted to wear skirts or
shorts provided they are the same color as the pants and no shorter
than 3 inches above the knee. Pants should be worn at waist level
and not sag or touch the floor. Cargo pants and jeans are not
permitted. No cell phones, ipods, or other electronic devices are
permitted during competition. Failure to comply will result in
player being denied the right to participate.
Admission:
$6.00 per person,
children under age 6 are free.
Participating teams and individuals are admitted per the OHSAA
policy printed on the pass list form.
Should weather
conditions or other emergencies interrupt or delay the tournament, the District Tournament
will be completed on Tuesday, February 21, 2012.
District Qualifiers: Nine boys teams
and nine high scoring individuals not on a qualifying boys team from
each Sectional Tournament to the District Tournament
at HP Lanes. Nine girls teams and nine high scoring individuals not on a qualifying
girls team from each Sectional Tournament to the District Tournament at HP Lanes.
